Why KMX

Built for the loads other carriers turn away.

KMX International has been moving heavy, oversized, and project cargo for more than six decades. We are not a broker. We are the people on the truck, the rigger on the site, and the project manager answering your call.

01

Asset-Based, Not a Broker

We own the trucks, the trailers, the cranes, and the rigging gear. When you book KMX, we dispatch our equipment and our people — not a subcontractor you have never met.

02

Door-to-Door Project Management

Pickup at your facility, export boxing, drayage, ocean or air freight, customs paperwork, and final-mile delivery. One contract, one project manager, one phone call when you need an answer.

03

Specialized Is All We Do

Oversize, heavy haul, rigging, export packing, and project cargo. We are not a general carrier running a specialty division — this is the entire company, every day, for more than four decades.

04

45+ Years of SC&RA Standing

Long-standing membership in the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association, and direct relationships with vetted rigging and hauling partners across the United States and around the world.

How we work

Four steps from your dock to final placement.

Every KMX move runs on the same operating cadence — whether we are moving a 90,000-pound press across state lines or coordinating a full plant relocation with international export.

01 — Step

Scope & Survey

Tell us what you are moving. We schedule an on-site or virtual survey, identify permits and rigging needs, and lock in the equipment list.

02 — Step

Engineer & Permit

Our project engineers prepare route surveys, lift plans, and permit packages. We work directly with state DOTs and port authorities so you do not have to.

03 — Step

Rig, Pack & Load

Export boxing, crating, container stuffing, on-site rigging, and crane work — performed by KMX crews with our own equipment, on your schedule.

04 — Step

Haul, Ship & Place

Heavy haul, ocean, air, rail, or barge. White-glove final placement at the destination. One project manager from first call to final sign-off.

Industries we serve

The cargo other carriers will not touch.

KMX moves heavy, oversized, and high-value cargo for some of the most demanding industries in the country. If your shipment is hard to handle, time-critical, or internationally bound, you are in the right place.

Manufacturing & Industrial

Safety · Our operating standard

What could be more important than protecting employees, your material, and the company's hard-earned reputation?

KMX International has always been extremely serious about safety. Our safety program is built into every lift, every load, and every shift — because the work is unforgiving, and our customers deserve a carrier that treats it that way.

Pre-job hazard analysis

Every lift and every load gets a documented JSA, reviewed and signed by the crew before work begins.

NCCCO-certified operators

Our crane operators hold current NCCCO certifications and re-certify on the published schedule — never on the honor system.

DOT-compliant equipment

Our tractor and trailer fleet meets or exceeds federal motor carrier safety standards, with documented pre-trip inspections.

Continuous training

Quarterly safety meetings, annual refresher training, and a stop-work authority that every KMX employee is empowered to use.

Asset-BasedWe own the trucks, trailers, cranes, and warehouse. Our people operate our equipment.
ProfessionalNCCCO-certified operators, RIG-credentialed riggers, and a project manager on every move.
ResponsiveOne phone call gets you a project manager, not a call center. Communication is the job.
